What the Gamel is the deal?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

What the Gamel is the deal?

Postby cws05nuts » Fri May 15, 2009 11:20 am

So, varying report across the board on how much time Gamel will see and how long he will be with the club.

Booyahs are reporting from the Brewers that he will pinch hit and dh for inter-league and then check back in with the PacCoast.

Fangraphs, Dave Cameron, gives a 70:30 ratio favoring Gamel.

I think ya'll were somewhere in the middle if my memory serves me correctly.

Could all three be right (edit - that would be hard - but maybe you understand what I meant)? Or is there a more accurate forecast to believe in?
thanks for reading, cws05nuts

Here's the deal... He may not play outside of what the Brewers are saying, but what if he hits as a DH, and hits well. Will the Brewers still send him down? Maybe not. So it's worth a two week bench slot to see how it plays out. Just don't drop anyone worth while.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Is he worth dropping Mark Reynolds for in a long-term keeper league with minimal bench (Weiters is currently occupying my XC13 bench spot at the moment). He'd be an everyday player on my roster.
