He's a FA in the league I have Putz in, so the obvious answer is to pick up Gonzo to fill in for JJ. Picking up Gonzo would also let me avoid a trade thats been proposed, Bell for Fuentes, and would let me keep my boy H.Bell and not have to bank on Fuentes keeping his job/not getting traded.

Problem: I'm out of roster spots because I'm still carrying both Bengie and George P.

I'm half tempted to drop Parra, throw Gonzo back on the DL, and then pick up Parra again. The league doesn't seem that interested in Parra (or hasnt been yet anyways). I don't want to drop Headley in case he turns out to be the 2nd(3rd?) coming of Bruce. Getting rid of a MR isn't an option as this is a holds league.

Drop Parra and then grab him again. Just wait until he pitches tonight. Cause if he throws an absolute gem then you may have competish in picking him up again.

Parra looked good but the 4 walks kept it from being an absolute gem. I unleashed Parra to the hounds, hopefully the ERA and WHIP scare people off. The damn Y? player note ("Besides two bad outings in Houston this year, Parra has pitched well" or something) isn't going to help my cause.

Sometimes when you try to piss on your opponents a stiff headwind kicks up. We'll see what happens.

And i would have probably droped Kaz. He is less likely to be picked up over Parra

@Jerkin: Yeah, our league has 2 DL spots.

Kaz probably woulda made it through waivers, thats a good point, although I like to plug him in when I need steals or when I feel like missing out on an Uggla grand slam.

We'll see what happens with Parra. In the meantime I stuck Gonzo in the DL spot and used the extra position to pick up Aviles.

Grey: Ditch Aviles for Parra again or keep Aviles and get rid of Alexei? I don't need Alexei, Aviles, Kaz, and Uggla so one of those pieces is definitely expendable.
