Middlebrooks was dropped as was AJ Griffin. I am really tempted to add one of those or Morales, Estrada, McAllister, and Oswalt.

At what point should I make a move due to my limited number remaining?

Thanks!

Don't know how many moves you have, but these guys aren't that necessary to pick up...

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Another owner has inquired about Ramirez. He offered Beckett, but I dont' think that is enough. My team is in signature. I was thinking Ramirez, Cashner, Hultzen, and Rizzo for Heyward, Gio, Pettite, Aybar. Thoughts or tweeks? Other SS on waivers include: Rutledge, Simmons, Scutaro, Escobar, and other trash.

His team:
C Yasmani Grandal (SD - C)
1B Adam Dunn (CWS - 1B,OF)
2B Jason Kipnis (Cle - 2B)
3B Alex Rodriguez (NYY - 3B)
SS Erick Aybar (LAA - SS)
OF Austin Jackson (Det - OF)
OF Alex Gordon (KC - OF)
OF Tyler Colvin (Col - 1B,OF)
Util Bryce Harper (Was - OF)
Util Jacoby Ellsbury (Bos - OF)
SP Matt Harrison (Tex - SP)
SP Josh Beckett (Bos - SP)
RP Ernesto Frieri (LAA - RP)
RP Chris Perez (Cle - RP)
P Cole Hamels (Phi - SP)
P Jason Motte (StL - RP)
P Ryan Cook (Oak - RP)
P Alfredo Aceves (Bos - SP,RP)
BN Jason Heyward (Atl - OF)
BN Eric Hosmer (KC - 1B)
DL Dee Gordon (LAD - SS) DL
BN Yu Darvish (Tex - SP)
BN Gio Gonzalez (Was - SP)
BN Cliff Lee (Phi - SP)
DL Andy Pettitte (NYY - SP) DL

The trade you're thinking about offering is good for you, but terrible for him, can try it I guess...

What would be fair for him? Using your top 100 list, which may be an error of application, what about:
Ramirez, Rizzo, and Hultzen for Gio, Heyward, and Aybar?

I'd take Gio there, it's more fair...

Gio deal is off. They weren't interested in Ramirez.

With Axford out, should I drop Cashner for Rodriguez (moving Votto to DL)? I have seven moves left till playoffs where I am keeping the maximum possible I can use which is 18.

Possible SP targets include Karstens, McAllister, Griffin, Chris Young, Oswalt, and Estrada.

I've been thinking about adopting a new strategy since my pitchers suck and nobody will trade SP. Our league has a 10 IP minimum (which is hardly anything), so I was thinking about trading my SPs for better bats and RP.

When playoffs come around my pitching staff will consist of closers and relief pitchers with good ratios. I will lose W and Ks but win saves and then compete in WHIP, ERA, and K/BB. I'm dead last, or close to it, in ratios as is. And of the teams likely to enter the playoffs, all but one have a much better pitching staff.

Thougths?

I think that's a decent plan... Make sure you get solid bats though...
