just when my offense was showing life...so Lowell, Blake, Schmohawk, Schmohawk, Ian Stewart, Schmohawak etc are on the waivers..unless someone says otherwise I'm gonna pick up Lowell, but do you think he'll will he suffice until Aramis comes back or should I look to trade for Reynolds or Beltre or someone not named Lowell as well?

Grab Lowell for the time being.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

It's a bummer alright. And the pickings are even thinner in my H2H league.

I've dropped Hanson for Rolen and then looking to drop Rolen and get Branyan via a waiver claim for the longer term.

Not sure there's much else I can do.

Would Feliz, Kouz, Headley or Fontenot be any better than Branyan?

EDIT: Or should I give the Coghlan kid a run?

Lowell without questions - he should already be owned.

Coghlan only eligible at 2B in Yahoo, so that's the end of that.

Is Branyan thus my best option?

Yea, Lowell was owned for awhile, but then was dropped for some god awful reason....so another owner is sensing my pain I guess and offered up a trade: My Uggla/Wandy for his Reynolds/Ludwick....this is a pretty good deal right? It meets both my immediate offensive needs, replacing Aramis and Mr. 'I'm-sucking-just-to-piss-off-fantasy-owners' Krispie Young

I did. Since doing that, I've had a couple of trade offers from guys in my H2H league helpfully trying to fill the gap at 3B. One offering me Atkins for my Qualls and Lowe and another offering me Lowell straight up for Lind.

I'm working on something else with Lind that will hopefully get me Rollins so I won't do that. Would you rather have Atkins than Branyan? I have Saves to give and could probably do without Lowe, although it will mean finding another starter from somewhere.

EDIT: FAs I could replace Lowe with: Parra, Porcello, Stults, Washburn, Boggs, Holland, Bush, Marshall, Gallagher.

Not pretty. And that's if I even want Atkins...

Atkins isn't that big of an improvement.

Thanks. That's my thinking too.

Leaving aside the other Lind trade I'm working on, what do you think of Lind for Lowell in a vacuum?
