It's coming to the point in the season where I can begin unloading some of my prospect keepers to teams who are doing badly and need to re-evaluate all my keeper eligible players to see where they rank. It may be difficult since some of these guys haven't even played in the majors this year but here goes...

Our league can keep 2 prospect keepers for a period of up to 2 years, a prospect is anyone drafted after rd. 8.

Beachy (current keeper, 1yr remaining)
Matt Moore (Current keeper, 1yr remaining)

A Sanchez 2yr
R Howard 2yr
Lynn 2yr
Samardzija 2yr
Rizzo 2yr

If you were drafting for next year what two players would you keep?

If I had to decide today, I'd say that Lynn, Samardzija and Rizzo are too speculative to pick over the others. In a vacuum I like Beachy and Moore the best, but obviously the 1 remaining year as opposed to 2 years is a big factor. Ryan Howard is a big wildcard with the injury, but could be a great keeper if he makes it back.

So ...

I'd rank Beachy first. Then, it's a toss up between Sanchez and Howard for me. I'd try to hold both of them for now and see if we have more information on Howard a month from now. I'd put Moore fourth on my list, Samardzija fifth, Lynn sixth and Rizzo seventh.

Things could change quickly with some of those guys though ... if Rizzo comes up and hits this time, he could move up the list.
