weekly waivers...

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

weekly waivers...

Postby tooms » Fri May 01, 2009 5:10 pm

Deep 12 team league. 40 man rosters including farm. 7x7 roto (with OPS, KO & HOLDS, QS).
farm system: P. Alvarez, Buster Posey, Dayan Viciedo, Sean West.

My team is performing well and don't necessarily have needs per se, but there are still players of value out there. I listed them how I rank them. So I am thinking of dropping Ben Fransisco and West (and possibly Viciedo). Who should I target and in what order? My thoughts are Richmond, Cecil, Reimold, Kotchman, Gaudin, Seay???

bats:
Reimold
Doumit
Kotchman
Blanks

arms:
Richmond
Cecil
Gaudin
C. Carrasco
Hochevar
Willis
Boggs
Paulino

Seay
Rhodes
Betancourt
Mijares
Beimel/Tavares/Wells

Thanks.

12 team 7x7 roto keeper* (add'l cats: KO, OPS & HLD, QS)

Keepers:
1B: L. Berkman
2B: I. Kinsler
3B: D. Wright*
OF: J. Bautista*
OF: J. Hamilton
SP: C. Kershaw*
RP: C. Kimbrel

Minors:
SS: Dee Gordon
SP: Brad Peacock
SP: Henderson Alvarez

Ooh... Reimold, he's tasty. Hmm... I'd rank them Cecil, Reimold, Kotchman, Gaudin, Boggs... And of course a Nats reliever if you need that sorta thing.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

How would you rank Eric Patterson in that same mix?

I'm looking at Cecil and Reimold or Patterson as pick-ups in an AL-Only redraft league.

Don't have a pressing offensive need so just looking for value.. I'm thinking Reimold over Patterson. Your take?

Reimold over Patterson, if you don't need speed.
