Micah Owings

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Micah Owings

Anybody considering starting Owings against KC (Gil Meche) on Sunday?

Is it worth the risk after his recent debacles?

I would. Interleague play usually favors the pitchers. I'm spot starting Gallaraga on DET today vs. the Dodgers. Looking each day for a potential streamer (hopefully not a Cleveland Streamer)...

Hell yes I'm starting Owings at home against KC. If you've got him on your roster and wouldn't be willing to start him in that game, you might as well drop him.

Yes - I'd start him. This is a decent matchup for him. It's not a huge statistical difference, but KC is weaker against righties. KC is also 28th in MLB in HR, which bodes well for Micah - who has had trouble keeping the ball in the park. Only thing that is a cause for concern is that KC has a bunch of left handed batters (Gload, Gordon, Gathright, DeJesus), who hit .284 against him.

I dropped him after his last start for Verlander who was sitting on waivers, so he would be a streamer, sans Cleveland, hopefully.

I dropped him for Wolf
Johnny Ringo: All right, 'lunger'. Let's do it.
Doc Holliday: Say when.

Did I really say that? I meant hell no don't start him against a vicious Royals lineup.

He's gone now. Owings is dead to me.
