I am a Longo owner who picked up Middlebrooks. AND I was an Espinosa owner, who has been struggling to get my MI spot figured out.
Now the 2B/3B/SS eligible Aviles is there. I don't really believe in this dude's ability to keep playing like he has been. But Middlebrooks just had an 0-fer, a sore hamstring and not a great minor league track record to support how he has hit so far since his callup.
So, drop Middlebrooks and use my #1 waiver claim ( I dont care much about it being #1 honestly) to grab Aviles? There is literally nobody else for 3B available.
