I don't know what is going on. I thought i had a pretty good team. Obviously Pujols isn't locked in yet and there have been other slow starters and injuries in my lineup... Last week, i lost to an inactive manager who missed at-bats and innings pitched by not subbing in his bench. He beat me by 30 points! Nothing pisses me off more than getting beat by a manager not even paying attention to his lineup all week!
So do i just need to be patient and hope my players start turning it on? Or do i make a move? We only have 2 DL spots, so i activated Hudson (even though he is probably a week away from pitching) and I picked up Morse yesterday as a stash.
On the wire:
Middlebrooks, Glass Chipper, C. Johnson, Reddick, Saunders, Brantley, Markakis, Tabata, Nieuwenhuis, Parra, Campana
McDonald, Zambrano, Doubront, Smyly, Happ, Westbrook, Bass, Hughes, Delgado, Nicasio, Arrieta
*Note - I am only rostering 1 closer right now because the way our league is set up, closers do not score as many points as SP's (unless its like a Kimbrel, Valverde, or Axford-type). High K pitchers score the most points, even the ones with bad ERA and WHIP, so someone like Scherzer is actually not a bad pitcher to have in my league.
I know i wrote a book here, but any help would be appreciated! Thanks!
