I really want to grab Robertson because he has the potential to be one of the dominant closers but I'd have to drop a valuable piece to grab him. Due to Sandoval's injury and Ryan Howard clogging up bench spots my only option is to drop a SP or RP to grab him.
SP: Minor
SP: Wandy
SP: Cahill
SP: Latos
RP: Axford
RP: Valverde
I've got 11 starting pitchers so I could stand to lose one but I also have no reason to carry 3 closers as they can only be used as a RP in this league. I'm also particularly fond of each of the back end SPs that I listed as my worst. Due to the way he has pitched thus far it is possible that Valverde wouldn't even be picked up if he were dropped. Would you consider dropping Valverde once you were sure Robertson was named the closer?

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

That was not the answer I was expecting although I probably should have knowing your stance on tying up roster spots with injured players!
I cannot stream players in this league much due to pickup limits and I've had several trade offers at this point for Howard whereas I cannot even get the worst team in my league to accept Valverde in a trade over guys like Balfour and Perez. Valverde's velocity is significantly down from what it was in 2010 and he just doesn't get the Ks like he used to. If KRob is named the starter and is still available then I'm going to have to go with my gut on this and drop Valverde.
