Basically, I am in a weird situation where it may be benefical for me to just sit every single one of my pitchers Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
I am winning in W(3-0),SV(2-1),K(30-5), and losing era(3.43 to 3.00) and whip (1.24 to 0.78)
His last two starters are Verlander@NYY and MCcarthy@BAL on 4/27. Rivera is his only closer, with Feliz a slim chance of coming out of pen 1 of the next 3 days.
My remaining starters are 4/28: Morrow vs SEA,4/29: Greinke@STL,Bumgarner vs SD, and Garcia vs MIL. With Santiago Casilla,Balfour,Guerra,Marshall as my RP.
Even if both Verlander and McCarthy get W's today I still have the W category,Even if they both get 12 k's each, I still have the Ks category.Rivera has to get 2 saves in the next 3 days for me to outright lose the SV category. That just leaves ERA and Whip.
Looking at his pitching he has only had Buehrle,Rivera and Feliz pitch this week.Meaning he doesn't have the cushion to absorb a shaky start.Just wondering at this point how conservative i should be with my sp/rp Friday-Sunday.Since if he pitches himself out of ERA/WHIP with Verlander and McCarthy tonight, I gain nothing by starting any SP or RP unless Rivera gets a save to tie us in saves.
