Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

J.Upton or A.Lind???

Postby gatornickell » Fri Apr 10, 2009 5:47 am

I have Upton as a backup OF, but he scares me in his terrible spring and now in a very crowded outfield in AZ. Should I drop him for Lind and his hot bat? Is Lind an everyday OF for Toronto? And can Upton pull it out or not this seasons!

hard to say without seeing your team (use the signature).

Lind is the real deal and a fulltime starter in TO. He's batting 5th or 6th right now, where as Upton is batting 8th in a crappier lineup.

Lind is going to hit .290 20+hrs, 85+rbis this year. He was a top prospect who really "figured it out" in the 2nd half of the 2008 season. I don't think Upton matches his #'s, although as we all know, he has mad upside.

If Upton is the worst guy you have, then I'd recommend dropping him for Lind.
