Cantu hurt. Who's the best to replace him?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Cantu hurt. Who's the best to replace him?

Postby rollins1 » Wed Apr 08, 2009 12:04 pm

Cantu got hit in the hand by a pitch today. I dont have a backup.

Im considering dropping Scott Downs for Josh Fields.

Which of the following would you add, and who would you drop?

To add:
Fields, Lowell, Wigginton, Rolen

Im considering dropping:
Spillborghs, Butler, Downs, Sonnanstine

It's a daily league so I can start a ton of pitchers. Not much out there on waiver wire.

C-Navarro
1-Fielder
2-Kinsler
3-Cantu
s-Rollins
OF-Holliday, Hart, Hunter, Hawpe, Crisp, Spillborghs, Butler
SP-Halladay, Kazmir, Wainwright, Garza, Slowey, Parra, Maholm, Sonannstine, Zimmermann
RP-Bell, Fransisco, Zeigler, Downs
DL-Lackey, Devine

Thanks!

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

yeah, Sonnanstine is awful.

Downs will be closing for the jays soon I'd bet...

Fields has big upside, but Rolen hit very well in the spring and has started out hot....don't count him out yet as a short term replacement. Fields is oozing with upside though.
