Drop Reynolds for Felipe Lopez?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Drop Reynolds for Felipe Lopez?

Postby Seisto » Tue Apr 07, 2009 11:02 am

I'm in a 12-team, 5x5, weekly lineups. Question is, do I go ahead and drop Mark Reynolds for Felipe Lopez?

I feel like A) I have the power necessary throughout my lineup and B) don't want to deal with what looks like might be a platoon-y baloney year for Reynolds (or another 250 Ks if nothing else).

Should I drop Reynolds right now for Felipe Lopez? An everyday guy who might give me more throughout all categories? Or do I sit on Reynolds and see what he does once Tony Clark chills the f**k out and Chris Snyder levels off?

Here's my batting roster --

C - McCann
1B - A. Gonzalez
2B - DeRosa (2B, 3B, OF)
3B - Figgins (2B, 3B)
SS - Rollins
OF - Beltran
OF - McLouth
OF - Dunn (1B, OF)
UTIL - Cantu (1B, 3B0
BN - Aviles (2B, SS)
BN - F. Lewis
BN - Reynolds

Thanks to all, glad to be back on the train.

Glad to have you back aboard. Honestly, your team is so stacked, you don't need either hitter, but you could use Reynolds more because you may need power from your Figgins spot and you shouldn't need Lopez from the 2nd base spot. If anything, I'd drop DeRosa for Lopez over Reynolds. But I wouldn't do that just yet either.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.
