Twelve team 7 x 7 roto keeper league. 40-man roster.
hitting categories: AVG, OPS, R, RBI, SB, HR, SO
pitching categories: ERA, WHIP, W, S, HLD, SO, QS

Regardless of anything, I'm dropping Mark Lowe, Dallas McPherson and Luke Hochevar, for obvious reasons... I'll possibly drop Crede as well, which would give me four spots to fill.... the waivers in my league are slim, but notable players are:

bats:
Freese
Barmes
Burriss
Ben Fransisco
Thames
Teahan

sp:
Chan Ho Park
Glen Perkins
Ohlendorf
Scott Lewis
Hammell/Niemann

rp:
Cory Wade
Coffey
Weathers
Jesse Carlson
Rafael Betancourt

Who would you pick up? I need a backup SS and backup 3B and I definitely need some setup men.... I have the sixth waiver this week... so ideally I would pick up Freese, but I don't he'll be there, but I will put him as my first claim regardless... I probably won't pick up any SP, unless someone can convince me otherwise. Most likely going to pick up Wade and Coffey regardless as well. So i'll be picking up two bats and two relievers... Ideally Freese/Fransisco/Thames, Barmes/Buriss/Teahan, Wade and Coffey/Weathers... Thoughts?

My current roster:
Active Batters

Hernandez, Ramon C
Morneau, Justin 1B/CI
Kinsler, Ian 2B/MI
Beltre, Adrian 3B/CI
Hardy, J.J. SS/MI
Cano, Robinson 2B/MI
Youkilis, Kevin 1B/CI
Milledge, Lastings OF
Cruz, Nelson OF
Kemp, Matt OF
Markakis, Nick OF
Burrell, Pat OF
Jacobs, Mike 1B/CI

Active Pitchers

Halladay, Roy SP
Peavy, Jake SP
Cain, Matt SP
Floyd, Gavin SP
Kawakami, Kenshin SP
Volstad, Chris SP
Soria, Joakim RP
Wilson, Brian RP
Lindstrom, Matt RP
Ziegler, Brad RP
Rauch, Jon RP
Downs, Scott RP

Reserve Batters

Baker, John C
Posey, Buster C
Crede, Joe 3B/CI
Inge, Brandon 3B/CI
Alvarez, Pedro 3B/CI
Viciedo, Dayan 3B/CI
Lewis, Fred OF
Church, Ryan OF

Reserve Pitchers:
Jurrjens, Jair SP
Cook, Aaron SP
Wellemeyer, Todd SP
Adenhart, Nick SP

You seem pretty light on steals, so this order reflects that -- Burriss, Francisco, Teahen, Freese, Barmes, Wade, Coffey, Weathers, in that order I'd grab them.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

mostly agree with that order... especially with buriss. i like freese and barmes more than teahan though. not like it matters much, but i forgot to add ryan sweeney to the list of available bats, he supposed to be leading off for the A's... thoughts on sweeney?

Weathers and Pena will be setup men for their respective teams.
