Who to drop for Kaz?

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Who to drop for Kaz?

Postby ProjectBadass » Fri Mar 27, 2009 3:12 am

In a 12-team roto league, 6X6 (OPS and IP) with a 190 GS limit. Someone just dropped Kaz Matsui and I want to pick him up because I need help him the SB department. Do you think i should hold tight or pick him up? If I should pick him up, who would you drop and should I use my #1 waiver pick to get him? Here is my roster:
C- Brian McCann
1B- Mike Jacobs
2B- Chase Utley
3B- Chris Davis
SS- J.J. Hardy
2B/SS- Kelly Johnson
1B/3B - Jorge Cantu
OF- Vladimir Guerrero
OF- Curtis Granderson
OF- Alex Rios
OF- Vernon Wells
OF- J.D. Drew
Util- Kevin Kouzmanoff
Elvis Andrus
Ryan Spilborghs
David Murphy
Kendry Morales
Jarrod Saltalamacchia (I do not want to drop him because I am trying to trade McCann for a closer)

SP
Cole Hamels
Jake Peavy
Matt Cain
Aaron Harang
Matt Garza
Chien-Ming Wang
Jeremy Guthrie
RP
B.J. Ryan
Chad Qualls
Tyler Walker
Seth McClug

I only have McClug because I am hoping he is the opening day closer, need help with SVs, and there are hardly any decent RP on the FA market.

Drop Murphy. Also, you should put your team in your signature so you don't have to write it out every time.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Kaz is on the waivers right now, should I use my #1 waiver pick to pick him up or save it for down the line.
