4th and 5th Pitchers for 2 week period

Who to start, who to bench. Grab that WW guy? Low priced rookie or high priced stud?

Not because its effect is unknown (it screws me) but because its cause is so much more important than fantasy baseball. But now I've gone and written about it, so whatevs... "I come to bury Caesar" and whatnot.

As far as pitching goes, I was able to remain tied through a Balfour vulture win. So the loss of one Peavy start will likely cost me IP, K (which was pretty far out of reach anyway) and most likely W. And when I attend today and Sunday's games I will be watching Wade LeBlanc or some other "prospect."

However, due to a solid offensive day (thanks, Victorino and Drew!) I'm getting closer to turning the tables.

I would think that if I were God I would be really annoyed by complicated requests. Regardless, I'm praying for the Sawx to blast Cliff Lee today, despite Youk, Pedrioa and Ortiz going 0 for like 20. Are you there God? It's me, royce!

Too bad about having to see LeBlanc. Maybe Schwimmer will there.

Beating Lee and 0-for-20? Done and done.

If you want me to look at your team, post the team. Don't post a link to another site where the team is.
Have you given me all the info I need to judge your team? The number of teams in the league is a good start for the big overall questions.
Is your league H2H? Roto?
I don't know who's on your waivers. Don't just ask me who you should pick up. Give me names to choose from.
If you only have one team, post your team in your signature with the league parameters.
I don't know every single matchup for next week, so if you want me to choose a player for the following week and you think the matchups are important, tell me who they're facing.

Well, since you're taking requests, I'll have a Mets win with no contribution from Beltran, a Dodgers win heavy on the Kemp and light on the Manny, a DBacks loss in which Drew goes 5-5, and a Dave Bush no-hitter with 12 K.

And I guess while you're at it you can heal Peavy's baby.

You got it! Would you also like a foul ball today?

Wait a minute, usually favors like this come with a price... am I going to have to go to the darkest depths of the Amazonian rainforest and prostelytize to the natives to get them to join the Church of Grey? I mean, I'm cool with that, but I just need to know what I'm getting myself in to for a $9 ball.

Hmmm... I can make that an $8 ball if you'd like.

Um... Not sure if I need anything to put me more on edge. Fantasy baseball is doing a fine job at keeping me up at night as well. It also has caused slight euphoria at times. And my septum is healthy and intact.

So, yeah, maybe in the off season I'll hit you up for that.

Was able to shave some points off his lead, and am getting close in other categories. However, I have 4 players sitting today (Aviles, Hamilton, Markakis, Victorino) and he has none, so he could pull away again. I also have a chance to move my ERA down with Peavy pitching in LA tonight. Then again, today is the first and last opportunity for the Dodgers to clinch at home, so they'll be playing for a lot more than the Padres will.

The Dodgers may clinch before they even play the game.

Good point! So they'll still be drunk from celebrating, and Peavy can just mow em down! Nice!

Well, I guess they aren't allowed to drink before the game, but Torre did say that he would rest his regular position players if ARI lost, which would be quite nice for my fantasy team, what with having Peavy and my opponent having Manny.
