I'm in a 12 team roto league, with standard categories and CI/MI/3OF/1UT. We can keep 5 and each keeper moves up 2 rounds every year you keep them.

Any thoughts on which 5 I should be looking at keeping? A side note, I can keep 2 guys from the 4th or 19th rounds, but other than that I've only got one pick per round so I can only keep one guy in any given round.

I'm leaning towards Kimbrel (12) / Lawrie (14) / Profar (19) / Bauer (19) / Machado (20) but I'm not entirely sold on keeping guys like Machado/Bauer/Profar and letting VMart, Altuve, Medlen go. The upside is definitely there though.

Then I would take Machado and Profar. I wouldn't have a problem taking Wainwright in the 7th because I think he exceeds that this year but I also think you could get him back in the draft at a similar value. Same goes for Kimbrel. No problem if you keep him but personally I don't like to keep RP unless it is crazy value.

Thanks for the opinion. If I keep Medlen in the 20th then I can't keep Machado because I only have 1 20th round pick. I agree I'd be able to get Wainwright at his keeper round anyway, but i doubt I'd get Kimbrel anywhere near the 12th round.

Didn't catch that. Any chance of dealing Medlen and Kimbrel for an upgrade? Would make the decision for you. If not then I guess keep Machado and Kimbrel.

I'm going to try to see if I can put together some sort of 2 for 1 with a team that is lacking in low priced / high upside keepers. Thanks.
