Aybar’s headed to the DL and Rays have purchased the contract of Evan Longoria. Think once they bring him up, he’s here to stay, because there’s no reason to start the clock on him unless they’re going to play him. Unless, of course, he’s terrifically awful. Remember last year, guy by the name of Alex Gordon, yeah, he was four tires short of a used car. This year, I heart Gordon. My point, don’t expect Longoria to be the second coming of (insert religious deity of choosing). He may be great, just don’t sell nana’s broach trying to get him. In mixed leagues, I’d bid $7, in AL-only I’d bid $12 and in mixed leagues I’m dropping Franklin Guiterrez. Me and FraGu are done-zo.
