@Grey: Assuming Young appears healthy tomorrow, would you drop Johnson, Bourjos or Swisher for him? I have Roberts and Lowrie who are both 2b eligible so I'm leaning towards Johnson, but Swisher has also been pretty terrible.

Late to the party… Like others, I have a ton of these guys: Demp (off wiavers), Liriano, Ervin, Gallardo, and E-Jax. Probably for that reason it seems I need pitching more than offense.

I tried to get Garza for Billy Butler, but it was declined. The counter is Garza for Lind. I’m very tempted as our system uses K-heavy counters.

Is Garza worth giving up Lind?

Hmm 1/5 into the season…looking at my RCL team…its doing OK, 5th place. When I went into the season, Grey said looks ok but you have too much SP’ing and not enough in the OF. Looking at my team, I have too much SP’ing and not enough in the OF. Damn you Grey!

@Grey – Ian Desmond is available in my league. My SS right now is Asdrubal Cabrera.

Options for dropping and picking up Desmond – Michael Bourn, Carlos Pena, and Torii Hunter…

SS is a thin position and Ian has value… but I am debating picking him up or just stand still. What do you think?

@the grate one: I was just thinking the same thing, but looking at the other options in Seattle, I have to say no. Wright and Pauley have been solid, but neither has ever closed (1 SV between the two- by Wright in AAA). Cortes has minor league numbers one could expect from a closer (high Ks, but also high BB), but has never closed and only has 1 IP in the majors this year, and everyone else has been utter crizzap. So I'd say that League is safe for a while.
