Carlos Carrasco, $25,500 and the red hot Cleveland Indians are hosting the team formally known as the Detroit Tigers.  If you haven’t been keeping track the current Tigers aren’t posting a fearsome lineup by any means.  Nick Castellanos is swinging a hot bat, but other than him they are ice cold and Carrasco es en fuego!  Over his last three starts he’s 2-0 with 23 innings pitched, 24 Ks and 2 ER.  Yes, please and thank you.  Carrasco is the highest priced pitcher tonight, but with some creative pairing I’m confident we can piece together a winning roster.  Brandon Woodruff, $14,100, versus Pittsburgh is just what the doctor ordered to balance out the high price tag of Carrasco.  Woodruff has been very serviceable since being called up in early August.  He’s 1-1 with 1.52 ERA, with 20 Ks in 23.2 innings.  He’s facing a scuffling Pirates squad that’s only won 4 of it’s last twelve games and they’ve only scored a total of 6 runs over the last 5 games.  There’s not a ton of data to go off of for Woody, but I’ll take with the discounted price tag tonight.  Now that our pitching is set, let’s take a look at our offensive options.

Kendrys Morales, IF: $8,400 – He’s got two HRs to go along with his 6 game hitting streak.  He’s facing Ubaldo Jimenez at home tonight and I have a feeling it’s going to get ugly real fast.  Feel free to put together a Blue Jays stack if you’re not feeling the other picks.

Mike Moustakas, IF: $7,800 – I’m hoping the Moose gets loose tonight as he already has 2 HRs against the young righty Reynaldo Lopez.

Welington Castillo, IF: $6,400 – Where’s the Beef?  It’s in Baltimore Yo.  Big Beefy has 5 HRs over his last 10 games and I have a feeling he’ll be feast in Toronto tonight.

Nelson Cruz, OF: $8,400 – I’m leaning on the Hitterton for this one as he’s numero uno.  The Boomstick is facing Cole Hamels tonight and he comes in riding a seven game hitting streak.  Get hot, stay hot.

Mitch Haniger, OF: $8,000 – This dude is hot as a pistol, 18 hits in the last 10 games.  I think he might be healthy again folks.

Carlos Gonzalez, OF: $7,600 – I’m sticking with the hot bats as Cargo has 13 hits over his last 10 games.  He’s facing Zack Greinke tonight and he’s 14/39 with 5 HRs and 7 RBI.

Domingo Santana, OF: $7,500- I know it’s not Sunday, but he’s facing lefty Steven Brault at home tonight.  He’s going to be a day late on delivering his namesake.

Michael Saunders, OF: $5,600 – Discount Double Check.  I’m hoping he’s in th elineup tonight as he owns Ubaldo, 9/21 with 4 HRs.

I’m Only Happy When It Rains

Clear skies tonight for all eight games.  Let’s Play Ball!

Doing Lines In Vegas

Carlos Carrasco will be bringing the sweet sounds at a ridiculous -315 tonight against Detroit.  Baltimore and Toronto are slated to be the highest scoring game tonight at 9.5 O/U.

Do you like Sabathia vs TB (at Mets park) tonight?

Tampa has been pretty bad against LH, derive much of their offense from left handed hitters, and Sabathia’s splits are good against lefties.

@ctrengove: I do like that start and so does the Steamonator at +6.9. Obviously being in Citifield helps as well. So yeah, I’d run him out there.

I know, shizz is bonkers this time a year… I’m holding Wilmer Difo on my RCL team like he’s good!

@Grey: I barely snuck into my H2H finals after winning it 3 years in a row. I had a bye in my other H2H, so it’s a big week for me. I was moving up in my RCL but BHam went down and now I’m donzo.

@Grey: Even after the suspect trade earlier this year?!? That’s impressive. I moved JDong for Beltre, Bham & Giles. I started gaining some ground because I had mad starts left for K’s and W’s to go along with steals & saves.. I feel like that was a great trade for both sides. These injuries have been crazy this year. I’m so happy Trea is back for H2H playoffs!

That trade you did looks pretty fair if you needed SAGNOF and if Beltre would’ve been productive… I’ve managed to avoid all major injuries except Trea, so I’ve been lucky
