@Grey: yeah, and you have to get the mileage out of them while they last. Seems like both FA/waiver competition and player turnover will be much higher than in traditional scoring

Rudy thinks concocting your own strategy for this is part of the fun. @Dave R: Cool... Yeah, we try and make a bit more predictable on the hitting and pitching side. Check out our rules if you like. @PhillyYorker: 5 HRs from a 3rd baseman is hard to pass up. (Yet, I love Alex Gordon and he had like 17 HRs. Hmm...)

I run a similar “Bizarro” league, but also award points for GIDP, Errors, and Caught Stealing for the hitters, and Blown Saves for the pitchers.

Julio Lugo was the MVP until he hurt his knee: so many GIDPs and Errors!! (Eric Gagne was great too.) Just putting together the league again for this year and doing my projections… curious to see how are rankings differ.
