Smokey, are you as down on Danks as Grey? Looks like he’s got a 2 start next week.

Would you sit either Danks (vs Det & KC), Cecil (vs NYY) or T Hudson (vs NYM) for J Vazquez (vs Phi, I think)?

Also, how about Aaron Harang as a 2-start possibility next week?

Harang’s got @SF v. Eric Surkamp on Monday 9/12: Against SF this season, Harang’s got 20 IP, 15 H, 1 HR, 13K:6BB, with a 0.90 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and .211 BAA. Granted, all 3 starts have been at Petco.

Harang’s got a Petco start on Sunday 9/18 vs. ARI, likely against Joe Saunders. Harang’s Petco numbers: 95.1 IP, 64K:32BB, 3.30 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, 7-4 W-L.

So, Harang’s two opposing pitchers are Surkamp and Saunders, with @SF and @Petco, two pitchers’ park starts.

Moscoso has been a champ at home, and he’s got those two home starts next week.

Home: 63.2 IP, 44 H, 5 HR, 15 BB, 38 K, 2.26 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, .188 BAA, 6-2 W-L

Away: 46.2 IP, 47 H, 6 HR, 20 BB, 24 K, 4.82 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, .257 BAA, 2-6 W-L

He’s un-own-able on the road with his putrid K/9, K:BB, ERA, WHIP, W-L…. but if there’s ever a time to pick up Moscoso, it’s now and it’s for his 2 road starts next week.

yeah,Im glad you said that.I argue w/ other fake baseball types all the time about not starting guys on your roster.Obviously there will always be certain starts that are a bad idea(certain rookies at Coors,@Fenway etc etc….),but for the most part,If you manage your team well enough you shouldnt end up w/ guys who you only start half the time or whatever.so yeah,I dont own either McDonald or Sosa.Im just trying to cover my ass for tommorow.I wanted another SP for tommorow,but the ww options are so weak.Ill check to see where I stand at the end of the day and go from there.

@Oilcan Giuseppe: Yea I hear ya. Well without there production to date you wouldn't be where you are now, is the best way to look at it. As for the starters depends on what you need. I am from the school of if they are on your roster than you start them unless its against a superior team. Because if your not going to start them than why are they on your roster?

good thing Beachy isnt facing Wang or Dickey,it can get pretty uncomfortable when y’get sand all up in that area….

I really hate when the real life baseball world s**ts all over my fantasy baseball world….Im a rabid,battery tossing Phillies fan and have thoroughly enjoyed watching Hamels and Halladay mostly shut down Braun and Fielder the past two nights and I expect more of the same from Lee today.The problem is,Braun and Fielder are my two best players in a h2h league and it could very well cost me the championship.I have no problem seperating the two while watching the game,but in the morning when I check the fantasy stats,its like a bad hangover where I regret everything that happened the night before.

anyway….10 team 8×8(QS,K/9),do you like McDonald tommorow against FLA?

same league,how about Sosa @WAS?
