Should I drop Escobar for Wigginton?

Everybody wanted Escobar the first 2 months but wouldn’t offer enough, now nobody wants him.

Wigginton seems to heat up after the break and looks like he’ll play enough.

I started it out low, as in Low-ney, just to see if he’s a sucker. Who knows, he only has 45 saves, me- 88. Nobody in our league trades closers but me, I’ve traded Nathan, Soria and Morrow and acquired primo talent and still lead in saves thanks to K Rod and numerous FA adds.

If he declines I’ll throw Chipper and Broxton.

The Rangers have decided to move Hank Blalock back to third base, the Dallas Morning News reports. So much for that experiment. Obviously, Chris Davis will get to remain the Rangers’ first baseman with this news. Ramon Vazquez apparently will head back to the bench, assuming that Blalock can stay healthy for any length of time. Blalock, on the DL after wrist surgery, is expected back from the DL this weekend.

Bring on the projected 15 Donks!!!

Apart from (his) Tex for (my) Crawford (and even I instigated that one), I haven’t received one that I’ve even had to think seriously about. The latest? S Drew + Jenks for Tex.

It might be Now or Never, but that’s still bullshit.

@James: I'd trade any of those closers for Ellsbury. Marte (as proven by Sherrill iin the first half) could have more saves than either of the two bigger names, so I wouldn't worry about losing Rivera or Lidge.

You can still offer the Philips owner the same trade and accept whoever bites (hopefully) first. I offered the absent owner a trade in my league and he accepted the next day. Grey- I’m only ahead by 5 steals and I have Lidge, Rivera, and Marte plus some other junk. I’m down by 25ish steals… think It’s worth giving up one of those guys and a surplus power hitter to trade for some steals? I could maybe get Ichiro or Ellsbury.
