I didn't realize Luke Scott turns 30 this year. So much for any upside there. I guess .270/26/85 is possible in 500+ AB. I currently have the lifeless dried out husk of Jason Giambi on my bench in a 20 team league that counts OPS. Is Scott worth a waiver claim just to rid myself of Giambi's infrequent playing time and declining contact rate?

You still think Dusty Baker is the manager? Everyone in Cubs world sees Marmol as a bullpen ace best suited for the 7th or 8th.
Man...I feel like a genius now. After reading this post, I actually had some of these people on my sleepers list.

I am expecting a fairly big year from Conor Jackson, and decent numbers from Zack Greinke.

As far as the three sleepers per team...I'd love to see you do that for the Pirates. I know that whole roster and I have no clue who those sleepers would be.

Emmett Jones's last blog post..Terrelle Pryor: Its not a doll, its an action figure!

re: sleeping positions -- ha -- well played.

Honestly, I could list three sleepers for every team. Hmm... Maybe I will. Wolf is not bad in Petco. Actually, Kip Wells is worth owning if in Petco. Garland's K/BB is so shitty, it's hard to get excited about him anywhere (except maybe Petco).

Damn, I totally thought this post would be pictures of people sleeping in different positions!

Seriously though, how bout Randy Wolf? The move to Petco should help, hell Maddux is still passable there. And Jon Garland, he's durable, pitches lots of innings, and is on a much improved team.

I'd take the gamble in a NL-only league. He'll probably be shuffled in and out all season anyway unless Belliard or Guzman get injured. Even without the "starting" job, Lopez might still get 350 ABs. Though 12/25, .270 is probably optimistic.
