also, is 5 outfielders too much for a 12 team league because that would be the top 60 outfielders and once u get around 60 theres not much good outfielders. Should I go with 4 outfielders. Im trying to make my leave exciting as possible without making it too deep. Also, 5 starting pitchers or 4?

@Baron Von Vulturewins: Baron, not gonna lie. I'm halfway disappointed that you are too scared to play fantasy baseball against Sandlot's Finest (me) this year. It shall not be the same. You will be sorely missed and easily replaced.

@TickTock: Go with 24 weeks and 30 IP minimum.

@Wombaty: That's a fair point. They're so poor with OBP, I wouldn't be surprised if he loses a hair off his RBIs. Should be negligible though in the big picture, cause the Angels have more speed so they might have more guys running in front of him. Maybe he goes from 100 to 100.

Grey, do you think there is a risk Abreu's rbi and runs numbers will drop as an Angel even if his SBs stay around 20? The Angels don't seem to offer quite as substantial a contingent of "former" juicers to bat him in as the Yanks, and the table setters might hurt his rbi opportunities too, no?

Im creating a league and I need some help on whats a reasonable innings minimum pitched per week. I dont want it to be too little but at the same time I dont want it to be so much that you have to stream pitchers. Also, should I end my season on week 24 or 25? i havent found a place to see the week by week schedule and Im close to going with week 24 because so much scrubs play on week 25. Help from anybody would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance

Thanks for this. It's weird how quickly Druw Jones went from explosive mid-3rd rounder to explosively-midriffed 260-pounder. He's still only, like, 30, right? Very, very odd.

I never liked Abreu (I can't get jazzed by less then 25 donks from an OF, plus I hate the Yankees, plus I hate OFs who disappear for half-seasons at a time) but somehow this year he seems like pretty good value to me. That is, assuming most everyone is as bored and unexcited by him as I am. He's like McLouth, but not as sexy, and cheaper. The kind of guy who never sends you to bed with a boffo night but somehow has good stats at the end of the year. See also: Dye, Jermaine*. And the Angels should score... a bit... right?

*Since you asked, yes, I am trying to get over my fetishistic attachment to young players and find value -- and success -- among old broken down ugly farts with one last good season left in them. Wish me luck!
