If he busts he busts, its not eff’ing chris davis in the 5th when you shoulda been taking votto or tulo last year ( i took both back to back in the 5th and 6th, wont claim all the credit it was basically by default bc alexie, davis, etc all went before i got my “turn”).

YA anyways, i’m not seeing alot of QUALITY drafters out there, if there’s as many MILLION fantasy baseball players as said, then some of them need to get better versed in their game, or if they’re playing for MONEY, they need to call me…. I will gratefully take their money and donate 20% to Daiquiri’s!!!!

@Pjtres: Reyes I don’t mind, but you’re making the other team strong with that trade. I wouldn’t do that one. I’d trade V-Mart for Holliday though.

2 questions:

i can:

trade vmart and a 2 of my 3 2nd round picks (actually 8th round) for holliday

trade lester and cliff lee (lee – im not keeping) and one 2nd round pick (8th round) for jose reyes and a 13th round pick

stand pat and keep vmart and lester

i dont know what to do…and i dont know if jose reyes is going to be okay (and that much of an improvement over drafting an andrus/asdrubal/etc later on…

thoughts on doing the deals? and reyes?

Would you rather have a combo of (Montero $10, Soto $11) or (McCann $20, Ruiz $1)

Given that 2B has some interesting upside plays this year, and some like Coghlan might get availability at some point during the season, is McCann worth essentially a third-round pick over the spunky Sox sparkplug? I would say, “no,” but I feel either side kinda stinks.

BTW, I discovered your site near the end of last season. This is the best site I’ve ever found, hands down.

@matthole: Best available would work fine, but I’d aim for a 2nd baseman or an outfielder.

@ Grey: What are your thoughts on handcuffing catchers? Does it make sense to go sheer quantity vs. quality? I think this may be a decent punting tactic in h2h leagues, where day-to-day offense becomes that much more important. Any recommendations for tandems that have a shot at working out to league-average production combined? Thanks.

RD 3 you see votto, morneau, zimm, rollins, 2B (not kinsler/utley), werth, Bay…..who do you take?

which rd do you look to fill that power bat for CI AFTER you already filled out both 1B & 3B by the end of rd 2/3?

Can I deal with it all year? Hmm, dunno. That 40-50 run & rbi differential between those two and the top 5 or so would be tough to swallow.
