I have the 12th pick in my league, so i believe i get 12th and 13th.. Another guy offered to trade me for his 8th position pick, which do you think is better?

I sort of agree with this theory, unless you can get Mauer for the right price/draft slot. While I don’t expect him to hit 28 homers again, getting 100 runs and a .330 average in that slot is gold. Gold I tell ya.

@Mark: I wouldn't punt both catchers in a 2 catcher league. Just the last one. I'd try for an upper tier catcher with my other spot. But your case is special, I'd keep Upton, V-Mart and Wieters. Wieters has just too much upside to let go back. When drafting, go for Andrus, Alcides or Everth at short.

Hahaha, it’s too bad there aren’t publicly run chump leagues that pay out like the one you put together. If all it took to turn a profit was a 4th place finish against a bunch of Yahoo drafters, i’d consider playing full time.

Of course we’re going to need to back up all th trash talking we do. I’d like to assemble a database of Razzballers playing in public Yahoo and ESPN leagues and see what the stats look like at the end of the season.

@Asdrubal Bastardo: you said it right on…. i just did a yahoo mock (when am i not doing a mock?) and i took miggy, then wright and some other awesome alignment of awesome players drafting from the 12th spot. There were 9 of the 12 drafters present for AT LEAST the first 12 rounds… it was stupid the team i assembled. ONE GUY took scott sizmore in the mid 11th round, and about 4 picks later I took mini-donkey part Deux… i asked how he could take S. sizemore that early and said he’d be there 10 rounds later and he argued his upside, etc etc etc, and i said how could you NOT consider IAN STEWART, and he said because of his .200 some average, OF COURSE LOL…. god why do i argue for stewart and try to get them to buy in? I DO NOT KNOW.

25/7 last year and not even a full time gig has me semi-sold.
The fact he’s 25 and the above…. SOLD SOLD SOLD. Taking Stewart in the 10th, 11th, and 12th ish rounds is golden. If he busts he busts, its not eff’ing chris davis in the 5th when you shoulda been taking votto or tulo last year ( i took both back to back in the 5th and 6th, wont claim all the credit it was basically by default bc alexie, davis, etc all went before i got my “turn”).

YA anyways, i’m not seeing alot of QUALITY drafters out there, if there’s as many MILLION fantasy baseball players as said, then some of them need to get better versed in their game, or if they’re playing for MONEY, they need to call me…. I will gratefully take their money and donate 20% to Daiquiri’s!!!!

I’ve started doing some mock dreezies on ESPN, and it just makes me realize how superior Razzballians are to the common fantasy man. This one guy in a draft took Crawford, Mauer, and Pedroia (the most over-rated player in fantasy history) with his first 3 picks…. All I can say is I wish I was in a money league with that guy and his friends haha.
