Would it be really cruddy of me to whine and complain that my husband is leaving me for 3 days of corporate partying in NYC at the All Star Game?

I am also pro Raines, and it is funny, because he is the one most often snubbed in the Fantasy All-Star process here as well. He missed three times in my calculations, despite having better scores than several. So, he was top 14 material, but because I needed a middle infielder he was the first to get bumped.

1) I can't believe the WHIPs some pitchers had with low K rates. Reuss and Sutton went 200+ IP pitching less than 5K per 9 IP and managed 1.00 WHIPs. Crazy!

2) Raines had 71 SB in 88 games in 1981 - 15 more than Rickey despite playing 20 less games. Wow. That would be 130 SB for 162 G. He would've broken Brock's record before Henderson did a year later. That stupid distinction would probably make his HOF bid much easier (I'm pro-Raines for HOF)

3) Some of those middle infielder years are really yawnstipating - e.g., Willie Randolph in 1980, Dave Concepcion in 1981. Would've punted those categories big time...
