@Rudy Gamble: ouch sorry rudy. it's a rough one. glad i benched him this morning. i wasn't wanting him but he fell so far in the draft, it was take hughes with some upside or boring old low ceiling SP. i went with hughes as my SP4.

for 4 hours , this morning , weei has been trying to guess who would
throw out the ceremonial 1st pitch for fenway’s opening day .
apparently , the sawx kept it as a well guarded secret .

turns out it was carl yaztremski , mlb’s last triple crown winner .

I wonder if maybe he's a warm weather pitcher so April isn't doing him favors. Oh well, I can't bench him so hopefully he doesn't get lit up....

@ken plane: In a vacuum, a curveball won't break, rendering Hudson more valuable (1% CB for Hudson vs. 17% for Oswalt.) In the kind of vacuum you're talking about, I'd say definitely not enough for Oswalt, MAYBE enough for Hudson if they are desperate at outfield and live in Baltimore. Probably not though.

I’m thinking about dropping Pujols. His AVG/OBP/SLG/OPS are all on a 3 year downward skid(4 year if you count this year and I count this year!). I don’t currently own him in any leagues because I was avoiding him this year and I didn’t randomly have the first overall pick or finish last last year to get the first pick, but I’m aggressively pursuing trading for him now that I can buy low and then drop.
