Thames
Davis
Kotchman
Matsui
Pelfry
Masterson
Arrendondo

Thames/Davis/Kotchman are kinda the same and in a deep league, I need Thames for his LF eligibility (even though he is so streaky). I need Matsui for SB and Masterson/Arrendondo for holds.

I was thinking Pelfry and Kotchman.

@Grey: I definitely knew your position on the man. I t was one of those situations where I was contradicting two different pieces of Grey advice while following another. You need to draw up a hierarchy of supremacy: advice about injured players > general trade advice > advice about closers > Harang. Or we could use common sense, but lets not turn this into a personal accountability thing.

I’m feeling much better about trading George away for Street. I was hurting for closers in that league – never quite recovered from Chad Cordero wanting the season off – so a gimp-likely Street was a move in the right direction in exchange for George. I was lucky to grab Bengie Molina at the beginning of the season before he went hot. 1/2 a closer is better than a nothing of a catcher. I’d say this was zigging where Grey zagged (as far as trading closers away to acquire pieces) but I doubt too many people were on the “Get Posada while you can buy-low” train.
