@royce!: I was going Duensing Machine and Rudy pulled it back to a lukewarm title, so that’s his. re: Project Runway – They messed up that show pretty bad when it went to Lifetime. An hour and half is just too long for the same info we used to get in an hour. And, yes, the judges seem influenced by the producers.

@emceeperiod: That list would change every day depending on bumps and bruises, so you’re just gonna have to follow along.

It does seem that the judges have more say than with other shows like Project Runway, where you can basically handicap a person in the first couple of episodes based on how crazy or annoying they are.

By the way, the headline “duensing with the devil” is awesome- totally captures a FBB manager’s relation to him.

@royce!: I think Top Chef is the one show where they either don’t keep people around for drama or make a conscious effort to knock people off early because it makes it seem like they judge from meal to meal. For instance, most reality shows would’ve keep on Kenny and Tiffany because they were good characters.

Kelly didn’t create enough drama for the show to keep her on. The most dramatic thing I saw her do last night was talk about how she was cooking outside of her comfort zone. So when the judges eat the food they say one thing (“I want to bathe in it”) but at the judges table they say another (“I might wash my hands in it”).

I’m not complaining, though. I’m sure all of the cooks, at least in the top 4, make amazing food. But I don’t watch cooking shows, so why would I care?
