There are a lot of varying opinions about Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez in the baseball community. I’m not here to get into that right now. All I know is that his career will be most likely over on Friday because he simply cannot catch up to the fastball anymore. However, the Yankees have announced he will play Thursday at Fenway against the knuckler, Steven Wright. What a perfect storm for Alex Rodriguez to take it to the Red Sox once more; he still can hit a knuckle ball a heck of a long way, and he has a big wall to aim at and over. If for no other reason than after Friday he simply won’t be an option, get A-Rod’s last hurrah into your lineup.

Corey Kluber, SP: $11,000 – The Angels have Mike Trout and a bunch of has-beens and never-will-bes. Let’s hope he can deal with Trout, and besides that, Kluber should be golden.

Michael Pineda, SP: $7,000 – Pineda is pretty much a toss up, and I’m willing to be on him having a good night at this price.

Gary Sanchez, C: $2,600 – We need at least one youngster in the lineup.

Mark Teixiera, 1B: $3,100 – Another old guy that I hope can catch up to the knuckler.

Jason Kipnis, 2B: $5,400 – Get a bunch of Indians in your lineups against Jhoulys Chacin.

*You’re only allowed to play A-Rod at third.*

Didi Gregorious, SS $3,200 – Hmm, maybe it’s not a good idea to have so many Yankees. But if Didi can speak a bunch of languages, we can have a bunch of Yankees.

Jose Ramirez, OF: $5,200 – Go Tribe!

Tyler Naquin, OF: $4,700 – Remember, Jhoulys Chacin.

Jackie Bradley, Jr., OF: $4,000 – Ah, we might as well hedge our bets and have one Red Sock (Red Sox singular???) against Pineda.

I’m Only Happy When it Rains

The Land is facing some rain in the forecast. However, it’s been a pretty sunny year for the 216, so I’m hoping for the best.

Doing Lines in Vegas

No lines out of the ordinary, and for the four game evening slate, I’d just advise picking a stack or two and going hard on those.

That’s all for today… Whether you loved him or hated him, the game will miss Alex.
