The person I was trying to convince thought that Liriano was either going to pitch a gem or a blow out. Liriano avoided the extremes and pitched a decent, not outstanding, start. Baseball’s funny; once you expect something exciting, like a lot of runs or a great pitching start, it hands you a boring, 6 IP, 3 ERA, 1.33 WHIP kind of game.

Anyhow, I’m sorry I lied to you about Liriano. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Also,
I currently have Bailey, Parker, Fiers on my roster with
Minor, Garza, Cahill, Hellickson all available. Playoffs start in less
than 2 weeks and we can’t add/drop once they begin unless a
DL stint happens. I already know you would say dump Bailey and
pick up Minor. Should I be looking to swap any of the others, whether
based on skill or the fact that both Parker and Fiers could be shut
down right at the tail end of my playoffs (mid-Sept)?
