Did you not know that Chris Coghlan had the highest batting average in the NL over the second half? Or that he hit for a 364 avg over the last 30 days? Or that he had the most multiple hit games? Or that he hits leadoff, two spots in front of Hanley? Or that he played 2nd throughout the minors and that when he was called up in late May he played OF for the first time, and succeeded? When you add it all up you have a deserving canidate for ROY and the player that won the award. What he accomplished merits the awards but I have no problem with someone perfering a player like Tommy Hanson. What I do have a problem with is when people say things like, ‘emptiest 321 average in the modern era’, well statements like that just show ignorance.

I am hoping yahoo fantasy baseball is free. Basketball is free this year. I’ve been in a league running 8 or 9 years now using yahoo for baseball and basketball, basically we’re addicted to that interface and not going to use something else. They should go to free though because half the other sites are free and they’re going to lose more and more players if they dont!

@Steve: The mug shot would be stellar, but I want his advice to stay here. @big o: That would be pretty sweet actually. $10 really isn't much when you think that the average fan (who actually pays for this) uses it, lets assume, at least 5 times a week. So, 5 times per week from April until the end of September (six months - 24 weeks), that is a total of 120 times per season that one could check their real-time league stats. That's $.083 per check. Of course for the more diligent fantasy player with multiple teams the lower the cost per usage (half that for for 2 teams, so on and so fourth). I would keep paying for it.
