@Paulie Allnuts: Thanks! It is my first year of involvement in the RCL, so I don't know what previous years were like. It's hard to imagine that there could have been a better league than the ECFBL though.

Darn right! Toughest league in Razzball! Perhaps you, Rudy, or Gray know what is the highest league index in Razzball history? Does 107 do the trick? Would really like to know the answer, as my idea was to form the most competitive league in the RCL. My team might not have done much, but I succeeded in my mission, apparently.

@Anthony: On your Yahoo team page there is a heading "Draft Central" with 1 of the options being "Draft Results" As for draft strategy, you'll have to check out Grey's February and March posts for lots of good advice. One thing for certain, don't take a catcher early.

2 side questions – #1 where do i go on yahoo to find draft results for a league ? and #2 What would u say is the best draft strategy for fantasy baseball ? Catcher 1st? 2b 2nd ? ??? please let me know what order do u think u get most value. I pretty much have my pay league locked up but had to make alot of trades in season to get a team that i actually liked and was comfortable with

Nuclear Porcupines here. I’d been way behind in starts for most of the season since I traded Haren early on for more hitting, which explains the charge late in the season. Running out of steam out though – think I’ll top out at 115, maybe 116 at the most, which won’t be enough to catch the leader. Much better than last season, though (triple-digit ranking, woot!).

Thanks Vin, just trying to make a move before seasons end. We usually have a week after it ends to make pick ups or trades before next spring training. I can see the Rockies moving Street, just afraid he may end up in a set up role somewhere. Betancourt has been the better pitcher thus far and may be in line for closing next season.

Can you wait until after the post-season and get some other data points?

I really like the Rangers chances by the way. Love them at 8-1 to win the series. Saw them a lot live this year and I like the way they play. Very head in the game baseball. Love the aggressive style on the bases. Loaded line up. Pen that’s playoff ready.

In a dynasty league, thinking of sending Huston Street packing as he seems to have fallen out of favor and can’t stay healthy for an entire season. Was wondering if you think the Rangers will actually carry through with their plans to convert Feliz back to starting or they just blowing smoke up everyones ass again? If so and they stay in house for a closer will it be Uehara or Adams?

It’s not impossible for me to get to 114 unindexed but that would be the max and I don’t think it’s going to happen.

I’m battling AL KOHOLIC in the ECFBL and it’s been one hell of a race down the stretch.

Still a little hard for me to imagine that there’s a team out there with 118 pts….out of 120 possible. Wow.
