He's got the job for the rest of the year, no matter what. When a team just gives up, there's a lot less pressure on the closer. Plus, he was a freebie. That's why I only target closers on crappy teams. Hell, even Matt Capps still has his job. And how much are those 23 earned runs really hurting you anyway? I couldn't care less about a closer's ratios. Which is strange (or maybe not?) since I'm a big-time Mr. B. I get closers for nothing, and saves for free.
