The Razzball Podcast is back, this week with a major peek behind our proverbial curtain! Man we had a crazy record day with Windows 10 bouncing around some settings in the Razzball Podcasting studio, Grey putting out fires to keep Razzball running, and a bajillion trades to try and get through… On today’s show we catch up on all of the trade deadline deals, changes to bullpens, and hot performers from the last week including Adam Eaton and Aaron Hicks. Now with more Grey rapping! Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
A bonus edition of the Razzball Pod is here – well – bonus as in we brought the length this week! I don’t know about the girth… Don’t ask me about girth… On today’s show we talk Scott Kazmir and Johnny Cueto‘s new teams (yes, to Grey’s chagrin in that order), Preston Tucker staying hot, and if Grey puts any credence on splits. Hint – Grey isn’t flexible at all! We then play another edition of higher/lower, discuss Cole Hamels‘ no-no, and A Rod hitting another bajillion homers. Plus some extra Grey singing! I have no idea what song that was… Here’s the latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
Second half Podcasts, wooooo! Grey and I catch up after his All-Star Break trip to Seattle to talk the remaining prospects Aaron Nola and Kyle Schwarber getting called up, Grey’s hatred of Mitch Moreland, and a surprise pitcher available nearly everywhere in 10 or 12 team leagues that we both like. Shocker! Grey picked him up while I read him the availability %… Pickup number 245! Seriously. We then play a little Price is Right higher/lower, and discuss a few hitters with multi-HR games over the weekend. I’m sorry in advance for this Podcast, residents of Seattle! The Razzball Pod is back, I’m back, BABY WE GOT BACK! I survived the bachelor party with just enough time/remaining brain cells to catch up with Grey on his second half buy lows and first half fantasy MVPs. No, one wasn’t Joe Blanton! I then run quiz Grey on some stats trivia, including some surprising league leaders. I love that Grey drops a “reading USA Today” reference. Nice one gramps! In today’s Podcast, the usual host, what’s-his-face, ah yes, JB Gilpin went MIA in the streets of Philly where he apparently got married, or had a bachelor party, or did something. Who knows? Actually, Grey does, as we went over the fact that Philadelphia is the jewel of the United States. Miguel Cabrera was also mentioned, and I just want to establish, at this point, injuries to star players (including George Springer) should convince you all to check out that atheism thing. Grey and I also went over Robinson Cano and his struggles, along with some strategies on how to catch up in the standings as we reach the All-Star Break. And in a change of a pace for the Baseball Podcast (and what is tradition over at the Fantasy Football Podcast) Grey and I went off-topic a little to talk a bit about the first two episodes of True Detective, Season 2, and had a couple things to say about the Game of Thrones finale. If you don’t want the spoilers, end the show at the 44:50 mark. Otherwise, enjoy the pod! (JB will return next week!)Please, blog, may I have some more?
The Razzball Pod is back, this time with more misused French frases (and more misspellings!)… On today’s show we talk Giancarlo Stanton‘s injury, Stephen Matz‘s callup, and our most annoying players so far. Grey gets so annoyed he makes this an R-rated Pod! We then jump into how pitchers have changed the fantasy landscape this season, and a surprise pitcher JB loves. Grey spoiled it halfway through! Way to toot everyone’s horn with the goods before I could! Here’s the newest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
Grey is back for the Razzball Pod alongside Sky and I for a threeway that would make any 3D printed Giancarlo Stanton jealous… On today’s show we talk Kyle Schwarber, Manny Machado, and put over/unders on HR and overall value from Todd Frazier. Grey got so mad at Sky’s bullishness! We also catch up on Max Scherzer‘s no-hitter and Chris Sale‘s fantastic run, and then talk some wily vets that are making an impact. Quick, bring Jaime Garcia an ice pack! Here’s the newest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
We’re back with the Razzball Baseball Podcast with guest hosts Mike and Jay to talk prospect fever! Byron Buxton and Francisco Lindor had Sunday promotions and we chat their contributions ROS, talk pitchers from Houston including how far Collin McHugh has fallen and what to expect from Vincent Velasquez, and we learn a lot from Mike’s past when we get into A.J. Pollock. Who knew our prospect guru was so artistic?! We also catch up on Maikel Franco and other hitters and pitchers we’re keeping an eye on through the next week. Now available – the Franco-Arroyo scale! Here’s the newest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
The Razzball Pod is back! On today’s show we talk about Mark Trumbo‘s trade to Seattle and the possible opening for Peter O’Brien in Zona, Anthony Rendon‘s return from the DL, and a big week for young pitchers hurling big games. JB & Grey love the Trevor May! Working on my ebb & flow right there! We also catch your Twitter questions and take a look at the RCL leaderboard. Hint! I’m nowhere near the top in either of my RCL leagues… Here’s the newest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
Grey is over his horrific ailments that had him sippin’ tha purp drank on last week’s show, so if you are looking for an even crazier show than last week – send Grey some hallucinogens! On this week’s show, we talk Stephen Strasburg to the DL, Prince Fielder‘s new approach, and why kale is actually bad for you. If it don’t taste good, why try and make it taste good?! We also talk RCL strategy with leagues that use starts limits, and catch your questions from Twitter… Now with another installment of Grey bashing social media! Grey also mentions his checkers prowess, so I think he’s actually 80 years old… Here’s the newest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:Please, blog, may I have some more?
