Jam-packed! Special edition! New segment! Cliche free! Well, this Podcast write-up surely isn’t cliche free, but we have an awesome podcast this morning! Our prospect guru Ralph Lifshitz joins us today to talk the MLB draft and profess his love for Kyle Lewis, then to some prospects that will impact redraft leagues like Alex Bregman, and finally a few deeper prospects to keep an eye for the future. I spoiled one of his favorite A ball pitchers he wanted to write about in his next post, my bad! Then of course Grey and I go through our normal shenanigans talking some hot pitchers, where Xander Bogaerts will rank next year, and some absolutely awesome segways if I don’t say so myself! Wooooo, it’s good to be back! I’ve missed Grey’s laugh like you wouldn’t believe, and on today’s show we talk the James Shields‘ trade, solid pitching from Matt Shoemaker and Michael Fulmer, and how hot Jonathan Villar has been. Don’t get Grey and Rudy’s engines revved about ESPN player rater value with the overemphasis of steals! We also talk Joe Ross (obviously!), where Yu Darvish ranks ROS, and our thoughts on Julio Urias. Now with more techno music! Here’s our latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:

And when I say special, I mean special. That is, if special meant filling-in for J.B. and then talking about how Grey knows Buzzy (vicariously I think?) from Jeopardy. Be thankful you guys have Gilpin to do this, otherwise it’d just be a 25-part series of Grey’s anecdotes with a live laugh-track called Jay (that’s me!). But we do get around to talking about fantasy baseball… Yu Darvish’s debut was talked about in there somewhere, along with some meta-trade thoughts now that we’re reaching midseason. Jacob deGrom, Carlos Gomez, and CC Sabathia are touched on for a bit, along with some added tidbits about how Carlso Carrasco is a huge buy-now guy. You’d have to figure fantasy teams also have some primo sales going on during this holiday period, so maybe send a message over to your fantasy adversary and see what happens? The question mark is there because I wanted the statement to not be taken as an order, but more a suggestion. Just like how you should listen to this pod…? At the end of the show, we talk about the last episode of Game of Thrones (there is a spoiler alert during the show for all of you who haven’t seen it yet) for a bit and then we’ve made sure to include the best ending of a podcast that the world has ever seen. RESPEK.

Razzball! Razzball! Razzball! Even I get swept into the catchy sound this morning! On today’s show we talk Jackie Bradley Jr.’s hitting streak, Cameron Maybin coming on strong, and play some Buy/Sell for our new Pulitzer Award-winning segment. No one has ever done that before! We also catch up on some Silicon Valley, make some strikeout predictions for Justin Verlander and Alex Wood, and learn why Grey gets himself in so much trouble when he yells at strangers. Either way, what he yelled was WEIRD in my book! Here’s our latest edition of the Razzball Baseball Podcast:
