ESPN is counting the Minn/Det game on Tuesday as part of the regular season stats for purposes of their game.

In a league where first and second place are separated by 1/2 point and tied in WHIP, I’ve got a choice of Jered Weaver and Randy Wolf today or Jurrgens and Petitte tomorrow. Who would you go with.

Or I could hold Weaver out tonight, and maybe have a few innings left tomorrow to go with Jurrgens and Pettitte (it’s Yahoo). Any thoughts. I’m totally conflicted and irrational.

@Bob: yeah a la BJ UPTON, yet he didn't do anything after his hot postseason.... but the same effect. @Simply Fred: I think Bruce is worth a look, just gotta fall to you in the right spot as with any player. If you can get him 9th round next year on? I think thats good.

@big o: ya i see crawford getting back to overrated again next year… I like Ellsbury, but at the 12th or 13th best hitter? IDK about that… he’s hard for me to take, I play H2H and i really dont like taking a guy to dominate a category. I like getting more balanced, 5 cat type guys, 20/20 type players…. I just know if a guy goes down i dont want it being the guy i bank on for steals or whatever…

Please rank these pitchers: Masterson, Freddy Garcia, Narveson, Richmond, and Mujica. I don’t care much for K’s, but want decent ERA/WHIP and most likely to win.

@EJ: I'm really hoping chris davis slides next year into the 10th rounds, but i'm sure people will give him another chance and the hype will begin again in the spring... he'll probably be a mid rounder 7-9th rounds.... i doubt i take him there.

@EJ: yep, i see the value and potential in DAVIS and what they’re saying there tho…. butler doesn’t look like he’s going to hit for a ton of power, if he could hit 30 that would be HUGE…. but a 20-100 guy that bats .300 is not too shabby.

The fact that davis could seriously hit 40? maybe more… that does give him the upside over butler, its debateable…. Davis could also break Mark Reynolds K record and get sent back to the minors again haha….

Those minor flip flops aren’t as big as drew stubbs being the right handed grady…. I’M SOLD, stubbs will be on all my teams next year! HA! ROFL!!!!

@Tony: I really enjoyed seeing Butler at 89, with Chris Davis like 6 spots ahead of him. Really?? I get the HR potential of Davis, but come on. From someone who owned both of those guys this year, I think Butler is on a different planet than Davis. Maybe I'm just overly high on Butler... I wouldn't be surprised if I own him in all my leagues next year.

Jeter is always consistent, but this year was a bit of a resurgence ya know? I wouldn’t go ranking him over TULO next year…. especially when the title of the article is “KEEPER HITTERS”
