@BigFatHippo: @BSA: That’s very lame about people quitting. Next year there will definitely be a full year league. Probably two or more. There will be first-tier league with the guys/girls that are here often, then 2nd tier leagues for people who comment occasionally, then other tiers for lurkers, and people who just want in. We also have some stuff in the works with another site (that I can’t name yet) that will explode the roof off of this thing. But in a good way.

@knighttown: He had a 2.57 ERA after the All-Star last year. That’s excellent, but he’s had problems in the first half two season in a row.

Don’t give up on roto, took me 4 years to figure out how to play and I’m well on my way to a 5 bill payoff. Interestingly enough, the commish tried to change it to H 2 H this year but I vetoed and everybody followed suit. Think he saw my keepers and got scared.

re: Spike — I’ve actually been a fan for a long time and only briefly jumped ship during the Bamboozled era. (C’mon, how can you not like a guy that feels the need to use a floating dolly in every single movie? BTW, look up floating dolly and you’ll know what I mean.) I also really liked his work-for-hire number with Inside Man. Felt like he got (some) game again. But this movie is getting bad buzz from what I heard. I hope the naysayers are wrong cause I want it to be good.

Have you heard anything about the new Spike Lee Joint, “Miracle at St Anna?”

He hasn’t done anything in a while but I always liked his flicks. This one looks totally different, may be great.

Actually it’s unreal, NoGlove obviously quit as he’s -216 IP but didn’t get killed by injuries. JOB Squad is -93 so I’m not sure he’s playing either.
