Damn - Crusin' dropped right back. A lot of us thought she would be literally "Cruis'n" across the kick our ass line like Palin comin' out of nowhere.

As things currently stand in the RCL is sitting in a tie. The JOB Squad and the Bacon Bits are tied up at 135. I feel like the Mets giving up that many points in a day. If the tie-breaker is ERA I'll have to be content in 2nd. The JOBbers are sitting in first place in that category.

Here's hoping the extra-innings Boston-Yankees game somehow affects the scoring enough so that one of us is a clear-cut victor. Championships based on tie-breakers are like deciding a draw in boxing with a game of Chess. Now the full-blown sport of Chess-boxing, on the other hand, is an entirely different thing which I wholeheartedly support.

@BSA: He's a 15/20 and .300 player in that park. At 2nd base, that's a player you want to have. I like Pedroia. Just not sure if he'll be affordable if he wins any offseason hardware.

@Grey: Nomah Ha! Wouldn't you hope he would be motivated by something?

As a baseball fan I want a Rays/Sawx ALCS. Then I begrudgingly would want the chips to fall where they may. I am still waiting for that dropoff due to inexperience everyone has been talking about since August.

Here's an 09 question - Pedroia for MVP in the AL? Was this year a flash in the pan?
From my side of the fence I like his scrappiness but damn that swing and that fram are hard to figure out.

@BigFatHippo: The Ray's story line would be Cinderella - been there done that. Celtics 2008 comes to mind.

@Grey: Do the Sawx pitch to him or plunk him? Torre, Garciaparra, and Lowe would also add to the hype and sidestories. Nomah and Lowe didn't exactly leave Beantown on the best of terms.
