Agreed on the ratios being effected more but that, like diamonds, can cut both ways.

@Pooh, Beltre is great but I just think Longoria is a top guy. And SRod doesn’t excite me. I’d still rather have Longoria but if you really need pitching you might want to do the deal. I’m also wondering if you might be able to get a better deal. I don’t think of CJ Wilson as a top pitcher. And Guerra is a bottom third closer.

obviously you give the guy a few more starts. But this was the exact same scenario with Dice-K… Wonder if Japan league has expanded strike-zones, or some such thing. Would be interesting if some “expert” could chime in.

If Yu doesn’t turn it around, never trusting another Asian product again… baseball wise, I love my Toshiba.

Grey: Any chance you have recently met a no name country singer with the correct over/under on that 3.75 ERA?

Anyway Street or Beckett in a 20 team 4×4 no K league.

Also what are your thoughts on these 4×4 leagues. Seems to me closers really get a boost as W’s are like throwing darts @ a board. The stud SP are still just that, but the high K, all over the place guys aren’t more valuable than a Henderson Alvarez type.

Guy in my 12 team keeper league w/ holds put Wright on the block. Should I offer my Youk, Alex Gordon, and Marshall for his Wright and K-Rod? His only closer is Marmol and my only holds guy is Rauch.

Would you roster several closers in a points league that awards 5 pts. for wins and saves and 1 pt. per out, or would you stream as many 2-start pitchers as possible (only 3 moves per weekly matchup)?
