Just wondering why you’re so down on Teixeira this year. His numbers from last year are eerily similar to Longoria’s:
Both had BABIPs of .239
ISO of .246 and .251
Excellent walk rates
16% K rates
18% LD
17% HR/FB

Both seem like pretty good bounce back candidates, no?

Drafts are starting and I’m realizing that with your rankings there are players that I could own in every league. So far in 3 drafts I own Braun,Stanton, and J. Upton on every team. What’s your advise when comes to owning similar teams?

need trade advice. im in a 20 team keeper league. 7×7 with ob% and slug and holds and Quality starts. its a 25 man team so 25 rounds. We keep 5 guys.

my 5 keepers are hosmer, reyes, stanton, mccutchen and verlander.

i have been offered votto and one of the guys picks in the 20′s for my mccutchen and 1st rounder.

i am super high on votto and think he could be the #1 hitter in the game this year or in the very near future.

What do u think??????

@boomer19, I use the Point Shares in conjunction with my rankings. It’s easy to see where people are giving and taking points. So if I take, say, Mark Reynolds, I’ll look for someone who has positive points in average… Or if I take someone who’s a negative in RBIs, I look to balance that. Also, I use the dollar values.

I’m having trouble knowing how to use the point shares. I am a total stats hound but am trying to come up with a strategy to balance the top 300 (Grey) with the point shares. I did well last year with just the top 300 (and the average mock drafts for reference) to find value at the draft. How should I incorporate the point shares? Balance them with Grey’s top 300? Seems like rubbing dirt on the bible…any thoughts?
