Yes to question one and no to question two.

I don't trust Ryan to stay healthy.

I don't trust Borowski for anything.

B.J Ryan trade or hold i am leaning towards trade because he looked pretty hittable in his first outing. On another note is there anybody you would rather see on the bump when your team is down a run in the 9th then joe brorwski?

pre-All-Star 18 HRs/32 BB/96 Ks in 104 innings, post 9/31/87 in 91 innings.

At the age of 28, he was moving into his third full year in the majors, a year when pitchers usually take a step forward. A step forward from over 8Ks/9 and an under 4.00 ERA, on a team that should win games. Spring training isn't a reason to not take that pitcher with your 103rd pick.

Are you guys serious about Hill? Frankly, I don't see what the guy has done to merit any of the hype that people on this site or anyone else for that matter give to him. His 2nd half stats last year were sub-par at best and his mechanics are way off right now, which explains the god awful spring training numbers and lack of location for a breaking ball. If the Cubs were smart they would deal him now while they can still get something in return.

And just because the Pirates happen to hit lefties well, Lou is setting him up to fail??? They're still the Pirates, in case you were wondering. Sounds like a built-in excuse if he has another poor outing.

I didn't ever see Hill pitch last year, but after having him on a couple teams this year I tried to watch some of his games. The guys windup, for me, is unwatchable. It makes me feel all weird inside haha.

<em>BBT Jon's last blog post..<a href='http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/bleedingblueandteal/~3/270127667/oflaherty-to-aaa-dickey-to-mlb.html' rel="nofollow">O'Flaherty to Minors; Dickey to MLB</a></em>

BTW, I love how Piniella works it out so Hill's nest start is against the Pirates in Wrigley. It's like he wants him to fail.

Pirates hit lefties well, but they're playing in LA. I'd put it at a pick 'em with a slight edge for Kuo. Personally, I wouldn't do the spot start, but I could understand it if you needed the Ks.

I hope he gets dealt so they can put garbage Lieber and Marshall in and never win this year.

Grey what do you think about Kuo tomorrow? I like this kid's K/9 and he gets Pittsburgh, but he has a bad career ERA against them for some reason. I need some K's to keep pace, think he's worth it?

Rich Hill got a really bad deal by Piniella. He had one really bad start against a team that was hot and hits lefties well. ....Yeah, Cueto for Harang is a great move.
