So what’s the deal with Chris Davis? Is he just going down for a couple of weeks to get his act together so that he can return to the bigs and kill it like Nolasco? Or is he dunzo for this year? I’ve been hanging on to him for a few weeks just waiting for him to get hot, but I could drop him for LaTroy Hawkins, an OF like Cust or Roward, or a Hodgepadre. He is currently my only offensive bench player so it’s not killing me to have him on the team if people think he has a chance of getting back up and playing well this year.

Too many pitches getting him into too much trouble. He’s gotten lucky so far. Hope the luck lasts another inning and 2/3′s.

@Ashley: Agreed, but not getting Ks/pitching to contact leads to trouble. Maybe he avoids it all year. If you remember Carmona was good in 2007 by doing that. Hasn't worked since though.

I can’t help but notice that you’ve been hating on Blackburn pretty much every week, even though he’s been solid all year. He averages almost 7 innings a start, has a 2.94 ERA and a WHIP under 1.30. He doesn’t get a lot of K’s, but that’s one category.

I feel like you’re waiting for him to have a start where he goes 5 innings and gives up 6 runs just so you can say “Look, I’ve been warning you guys for weeks about this guy.”

@Billy: They're a toss up. That trade's about needs. You need steals? Then keep what you have. In a keeper, I'd prefer the Markakis side. Higher ceiling and you can get steals elsewhere. @ron mexico’s papi: Close, but I'd take Morrow. Maybe I'm just being positive because I just traded Scherzer for Bourne and picked up Morrow figuring he can do the same as Scherzer.

Do you still feel the same way about Jobacum Grey that you did when he came up last year? I just got offered Markakis and Jobacum for Ellsbury and Kazmir. I have the latter. Do you value Jobacum over Kazmir (it’s a 6 man keeper league).

Would you trade Rollins and Smoak for Bartlett and Gregg?

I’m 3rd in our keeper league but 8th (of 12) in saves. So saves is where I can gain enough points to jump ahead. I figured Bartlett should be kept after this year and Smaok won’t be.
