Just read this little tidbit:

Manager Jim Trembley said Tuesday that he has no closer and is going to go with whoever can get outs with the hope that somebody would seize the job, the Baltimore Sun reports. Johnson has been getting most of the opportunities in Mike Gonzalez’s absence.

Johnson has compiled a 7.04 ERA and blown two saves since taking over the primary closing duties, leaving Baltimore hoping that someone – anyone – will step up and claim the role. The problem is that Johnson still seems like the best late-inning option, with Koji Uehara still injured and Kam Mickolio recently demoted. If not Johnson, then Cla Meredith or perhaps the recently recalled Alfredo Simon will get an opportunity.

@Awesomus Maximus: The Rangers announced in the offseason that Kinsler would hit 5th. But he should still score plenty of runs anyway in that lineup/park. Plus it is hard for me to believe he won't be hitting leadoff at some point this season.

@Grey: Ouch indeed. The other part of the trade was Kershaw for Kinsler. Since agreeing to the trade, it's been announced that Kinsler will be hitting 5th, virtually killing the reason I traded for him (I'm light on Runs). I swear, if Kershaw pitches a gem on Thursday it could spell the end of a 25 year friendship I have with my opponent/trade partner.
