Another Joyous week of 2 start streaming is in the books.  This week we have a bunch of lads that are up against it.  Most of the options this week are being truly put to the test with some of their toughest match-ups to date.

Who really doesn’t love a song that isn’t closely related to baseball being the lead in?  I mean I could have made the title Africa, same band, but further from the premise.  So we are onto an update of those every crazy relievers that garner some attention but are like the guys buried in the lower left corner on Hollywood Squares.

Another week in the books, my fellow pretend baseball heads.  The chase for wins continues this week with a stellar group of entries comprised of 9 guys whose combined career starts don’t even equal the other person’s.  I can’t even remember what I was doing in 1986 when Jamie Moyer started his first game.

Well, here we are in week 3 already, wonder if ML bee will have another opening game just to keep it fresh.   The world of two-start pitchers is in full bloom, the rotations are coming together and being set in an orderly fashion.

Feels like a 26 weeks and a day since I wrote about two start pitchers.  Since we are in the future, do we even still play baseball with bats or do robots run/hit/throw now?  So week 1-slash-2 is a weird menagerie of eclectic starters.

As I awake from my winter hibernation where dreams of twins named Thompson abounded, I realize the time is neigh to learn you all about the potential holds fantasy standouts for the upcoming year. Anyone that knows me knows I love relief pitching, come into my apartment you will see embroidered pillows with my favorite relievers over the years stitched in effigy.

So it comes to this, the final countdown.  Cue Lou Gramm and let that blaze through your head as you listen to that classic from Foreigner.  If you read this in tune with that song, it’s almost like the Dark Side of the Moon/Wizard of Oz experience.

The playoffs roar on.  I am calling this week’s entry the De-Fib kit for your playoff hopes, the in case of emergency break glass list.  Well how bad could it honestly be,  if you’re still alive in the playoffs or are still trying to steal those last few points.

Finally Jim Mora and Robert Horry will pay attention to their fantasy baseball teams.  Last week got all flummoxed with all that Irene business. Not my fault the patent is still pending on my weather machine. This week let’s hope we are back to some sense of normalcy.

I started writing this week and kept getting distracted by the notion of a “tease” starting pitcher.  These are guys we all see available every week at the top of our waiver wire.  For some reason they hop on and off rosters, faster than the Easter Bunny.
