Juice Jones is our MC Skat Kat.  That’s right.  We have a Razzball Podcast Football theme song and it’s got a rap interlude.  And Juice Jones says, “It’s Razzball, baby,” and I nearly lose it.  It’s Razzball, baby!  Wow.  If you want to hear our entire fantasy football podcast then go over to that side of things.

Texas finally caught a glimpse of MLB’s best Japanese starter as Hiroki Kuroda went 9 IP, 0 ER, 4 baserunners, 5 Ks vs. the Rangers.  Did they play this game in the Old Yankee Stadium?  The one that was 700 feet to center and had Red Ruffing’s mausoleum in dead left?

The Rangers are thinking about calling up big-time prospect, Jurickson Profar.  When I saw that news my eyes did the John Lithgow’s eyes when he sees the gremlin on the wing of the plane in Twilight Zone, The Movie.  Then I started thinking, as I’m wont to do on occasion, Kinsler is on lock, Andrus isn’t going anywhere yet, Beltre and Olt can play 3rd, while Young can butcher all 4 positions and fly the “This guy is the heart of our team” flag.

Trevor Plouffe is returning from the DL and that’s big news because it’s big news.  If you would’ve jumped out of a DeLorean back in March and told me I’d actually be writing a lede for Trevor Plouffe, let alone just a lede because he’s returning from the DL, I would’ve told you there’s no way Plouffe would warrant a lede and this is the information you bring back from the future?

The other day I got an email saying I have a financial windfall coming to me from a deceased relative in Nigerian that I didn’t know.  So I don’t even need to be doling out fantasy advice anymore.  Take the thirty-seven cents I made yesterday from this site and shove it!

And another rookie is called up.  It’s raining rookies that I will pick up for a few days and then drop if they don’t pan out in a matter of three days.  First, let’s see what our prospect writer, Scott, said just four days ago about Manny Machado, “Machado’s line on the year at Double-A isn’t pretty:  .266/.350/.431, 10 HR.  Still, he’s not slipping much in mid-season prospect rankings, as scouts and pundits continue to believe in his tools.  At just 20 years old, there’s ample time for him to play up to his potential, and I’m inclined to agree with the masses — Machado is still a future fantasy stud.

Watch out, Ain’t It Cool News (or AICN, for y’all in the *pinkie to mouth* knowles)!  Is Ain’t It Cool around anymore?  I remember they reviewed one of my short films from a film festival and I thought it was the meow’s cat.

Desperate housewives and team owners rejoice – Evan Longoria is back and he has the mysterious, bedroom-eyed Giancarlo Stanton with him. Woo-hoo! Tommy Hutton be my Marlins docent and read me Giancarlo’s stat line. No, a little to the right. Ah, yeah, that’s the stuff.

The Brewers called up shortstop, Jean Segura.  Woohoo!  Now, on various teams, I have Domonic Brown, Mike Olt, Straily, Starling Marte, Brett Jackson, Josh Vitters and some serious Short Eyes.  I’m basically the creepy guy hanging around the playground in my Astrovan, blasting “Hey Nineteen” wearing candy jewelry like I’m Mr.
