BTW, Blalock is already experiencing soreness in his shoulder. Get out before you get in.

I stumbled you guys, and now I'm hooked. I'm really digging your work and a lot of the counter-intuitive advice here. It actually seems like strategy and not a recycled off the shelf one-line that "experts" use year in and year out. I think part of being a good fantasy manager is adapting, something a lot pundits seem to fail to do, or at least fail to tell the masses (maybe it's job security, if everyone was awesome at fantasy sports there would be no need for experts!).

Anyway, I like Perez, he should be solid. I'm definitely on the fence on blalock. I hope to god I have 3B way before picking Blalock would be necessary. Seems to me there are much better risk/reward values available where he's going to be ranked.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the props, Chris. I can't get behind Blalock, but a lot of 'perts are, so, ya know, what do I know. Guess I've been burned too many times in the past. He was my corner infielder last year. The only saving grace is he went down the same time Braun got called up so I was able to pounce. Anyway, keep on, keepin' on.

Razzball continues to be one of my favorite feeds on my bloglines. Continue the great work, guys!

I actually am expecting Blalock to rebound nicely this year and post just around 30 homers and 100 RBI. I think a lot of his decline, even prior to the time he missed with surgery, was due to the Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. On my blog I detail why.

Chris's last blog post..The Baldelli Injury Saga
