If The Adverb doesn’t pitch for the M’s tonight, I wonder who they send to the mound? At a glance, I don’t think they have anyone in their bullpen who can go 3+ innings. Felix is next in the rotation, but it would mean pitching on short rest. It would have to be a minor league arm for the spot start, right?

Took a flier on Pie but I have no idea what to expect. He showed flashes at the end of last season and obviously has some pedigree. Some combo of 10/15 if things go well?

Will Stanton be stealing anymore bases or were the early ones just flukes?

Ex Mauer owner who managed to sell him on his ‘reputation’ as the best catcher. I packaged him up before his struggles in a multi player deal that landed me Josh Johnson. Since this deal I have managed to escalate up the ranks as I needed some big time assistance in my pitching categories.

I think Mauer has been over-hyped and has not delivered as a top 20 pick in my league. I guess for me you turn lemons into tasty lemonade..

@Grey: That is true that the Phills got talent from Seattle in the trade for Lee, but they are a team who has a core of talented players which are ready to win now. Howard's 30, Utley 31, Werth 31, and Rollins is 31. They aren't built to win in the future, they're built to win right now.

Yeah, road start vs. Jays, not a surprise for Baker–nothing has changed since two days ago when he was a 2nd half candidate. If you’re in a K/BB league, he’s probably not killing you.
